Hotel Workout - Day One

Oh, ABD. You cause me such pain... SUCH PAIN. Hotel workouts are supposed to be easy. I mean, I am away from the gym, chilling at the Math Conference...ugh...

Here are my assignments for the week:

Tues. 1/12/10: Resistance Training: Lunges x 3s x 12r @ 20-25lbs
Push-ups x 3s x 12r (try to get 3-5 regular full push-ups per set)
Seated Leg Curls x 3s x 15r @ 65-75lbs
Lat Pulldowns x 3s x 15r @ 60-70lbs
Barbell Upright Rows x 3s x 15r @ 30-40lbs
Floor Crunches x 3s x 20r
Lying Leg Raises x 3s x 15r
Dumbbell Biceps Curls x 3s x 12r @ 15-20lbs
Cable Triceps Pushdowns x 3s x 15r @ 25-30lbs

Wed. 1/13/10: Swimming

Thurs. 1/14/10: Cardio: Elliptical 50 min (4 min. Z2, 6 min Z3, 1 min Z1, repeat)

Fri. 1/15/10: Resistance Training: Seated Leg Extensions x 3s x 12r @ 60-70lbs
Dumbbell Chest Flyes x 3s x 12r @ 15-20lbs
Stiff-Leg Dumbbell Deadlift x 3s x 15r @ 25-30lbs
Bent-over Dumbbell Row x 3s x 15r @ 25lbs
Dumbbell Side Raises x 3s x 15r @ 10-15lbs
Supermans x 3s x 20r
Seated Machine Biceps Curls x 3s x 12r @ depends on the machine...I'm thinking 30-40lbs
Lying Dumbbell Triceps Extension x 3s x 15r @ 15lbs
Sat. 1/16/10: Swimming

Sun. 1/17/10: Rest

Mon. 1/18/10: Rest


So, for today I had to modify some due to the hotel gym situation, but the gym was surprisingly well-stocked. What I did:

Resistance Training: Lunges x 3s x 12r @ 20 lb dumbbells
Push-ups x 3s x 12r (3 regular full push-ups per set)
Seated Leg Curls x 3s x 15r @ 70 lbs
Lat Pulldowns x 3s x 15r @ 60 lbs
Barbell Upright Rows x 3s x 15r @ 30-40lbs (didn't do these...don't know what they are)
Floor Crunches x 3s x 20r
Lying Leg Raises x 3s x 15r
Dumbbell Biceps Curls x 3s x 12r (1st set 20 lb DB, 2nd set 10 lb DB, 3rd set 20 lb DB)
Cable Triceps Pushdowns x 3s x 15r @ 25-30lbs (the cable machine was broken, did tricep exercises with the 10 lb DB instead)


I am in a bit of pain... Hopefully it will pass soon... Next workout tomorrow, swimming!! (This I can handle...)
